WHAT WE ARE DOING
Operation Dead Giveaway (ODG) – A Child Protective Service was established to help promote the protection of students and staff during a school emergency. The objective of ODG is to eliminate all sounds from doors, windows and hinged structures that are subject to make noises that could give away the hiding places of our children, staff, family and friends in the event of a school crisis. This is accomplished by lubricating all hinges/joints within the school (mainly doors and windows).
This initiative has already successfully begun with the completion of the Rappahannock County Public Schools along with the School Board building on Tuesday, October 8. We also completed the project at the Rappahannock Senior Center at Scrabble School. Highland School in Warrenton, VA. is scheduled for Monday, November 25.
